Annual Fund Raising Event
Insight For New Housing invites you to celebrate with the Developers and Organizers of our community. On Thursday, April 24, 2008 Insight for New Housing will once again host our Annual Fund Raising Event at:
Maestros Catering Hall
1704 Bronxdale Avenue
Bronx, New York
From 7pm until 11pm
The greatest of us are those who serve. This is the theme that we are gathering under. Celebrating our growth and acknowledging that we need each other to help make this world we live in better for not just our children but for each other. Our fundraiser has a purpose and we invite you to be a major participant in creating an atmosphere of dining dancing and giving of yourselves.
The honorees are:
Monsignor Donald Sakano, Founder of Highbridge Community H.D.F.C.Ms. Christina Curry, Executive Director, Harlem Independent Living Services Center and Staff
Michael (Max) Knobbi, Executive Director of Bronx-Net Television (Public Access Channels 67 thru 70)
Through the talents and gifts of these three individuals, the challenges to develop a community are being overcome, so that every individual, regardless of circumstance, can live a productive, safe life. Informed and empowered, prepared to advocate for themselves.
These humble individuals have been quietly succeeding at creating a New York City and State that responds to the needs of all the residents and giving access to the frail and the differently able.
Insight would like you to join us as we recognize their accomplishments, some of which you might know and some you might be surprised to hear.

This is our third annual fundraiser and we hope to provide all that will make this experience memorable. This event features:
Valet parking
Open bar top shelf continuously
Hot Buffet from 8 p m until 10 p m: ( oxtail with gravey,fried chicken, -b-que chicken, macaroni salad, rice and peas, fish, pasta salad, green salad, yellow rice, pastry , tea/coffee, etc.)
The Event will be taped for airing on Bronx-net!
Insight for New Housing, Inc. is a community based non-profit organization with three primary goals:
1. To develop housing for the blind and visually impaired;
2. To improve the quality of life for the visually impaired through the dissemination of information;
3. To advocate for the issues that confront the visually impaired personal lifestyle.
